Safety & Sustainability

Our comittments
The market for Baby products is for good reasons one of the most heavily regulated in the world. We all recognize the importance of keeping our children safe from harm and at Elodie Details we strive to ensure we always go beyond the requirements set forth in the European Safety Regulations that apply to our products. When you buy an Elodie Details products you can always be certain it has been manufactured, tested an approved in accordance with these standards.

We work closely with our factories and visit them regularly to ensure that they comply completely with our requirements, environmentally, socially and safety wise. Many of our factories have been with us since the start of the company and have played a major role in developing it.
Bisphenol A (BPA)
Bisphenol A (BPA), a component of plastic, has been under international criticism for some time. A European Commission directive which bans the use of BPA in the manufacture of baby bottles is now in effect. Elodie Details has long been using safe alternatives. It’s guaranteed that none of our plastic Bottles contain BPA
PVC

We ensure that our products are always 100% PVC-free.

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

Taking part in achieving a sustainable society requires efforts and commitment. Our most comprehensive initiative is the decision to, whenever possible; use only OEKO-TEX® 100 certified fabrics in our products.

The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is a globally recognised testing and certification system which excludes or strictly regulates the use of possibly harmful substances in textiles. Products can only carry the OEKO-TEX® label if all components meet the required test criteria, including rivets, buttons, zips, interlinings etc.
Unlike some other standards, OEKO-TEX® has a specific category for baby products that is particularly far reaching in its requirements, making it the best certification option for baby products today.
