2005 – Where It All Began
It all started with a simple yet brilliant idea. In 2005, our founder Linda Sätterström sewed her very first pacifier clip – driven by a strong DIY spirit and the belief that baby products could be both practical and beautiful.
What began as a personal solution quickly caught the attention of other parents, and the idea of combining function with thoughtful design laid the foundation for what would become the company Elodie Details AB.
It was the beginning of a journey still defined by creativity, quality, and a love for design.
2007 – Stepping Out Into the World
Just two years later, Elodie reached international recognition. Our iconic Gold Pacifier caught the eye of the British press and appeared in both The Sun and Metro UK.
That moment confirmed what we already felt – that our vision of beautifully designed baby essentials had a place far beyond Sweden’s borders.
It was the start of Elodie’s journey out into the world.
2010 – The First Collaboration
In 2010, we embarked on our very first design collaboration – with the colorful and playful brand Paul Frank. Together we created something that blended their bold personality with Elodie’s clean Scandinavian aesthetic.
The partnership was a success and showed how creativity and commercial strength could meet in new ways. It also became the starting point for many inspiring collaborations that would continue to shape Elodie’s identity.
2012 – The Birth of an Icon
2012 marked the launch of the Stockholm Stroller – our very first stroller. At that time, design was rarely prioritized in the stroller market, so we decided to change that. The result was a stroller that stood out and set a new standard for design and aesthetics.
That same year saw the birth of our first truly iconic print. "Apple of My Eye" quickly became a global favorite and helped define Elodie’s unique design language for years to come.
2013 – Everyday Innovation
The following year, we introduced our very first Winged Bib – a clever and elegant design innovation, developed and designed by Linda Sätterström. The wings protected a child’s shoulders better than traditional bibs, making mealtimes simpler and a little less messy.
This small but smart idea quickly became a success and inspired many others in the industry. It is a standout example of how clever design can make everyday life both smoother and more fun.
2015 – A New Home for Creativity
After years of steady growth, 2015 brought a milestone moment: we moved into a larger showroom in the heart of Stockholm. It was more than a change of address – it was a symbol of how far we had come.
With its wide display windows and bright, open atmosphere, the showroom became an inspiring meeting place for colleagues, customers, and partners alike. A new chapter in Elodie’s story began.
2017 – Blinkie Joins the Family
In 2017, we launched Blinkie – our beloved comfort blanket that’s part snuggle toy, part soft companion. It quickly became a favorite among children all over the world.
Blinkie is a perfect example of how we continue to create products that bring together comfort, function, and thoughtful design – always made with love and attention to detail. Like the Winged Bib, Blinkie has also inspired many similar products since it’s introudction. Something we are quite proud of.
2019 – A New Expression
After fourteen years of innovation and growth, it felt natural to evolve our visual identity as well. Elodie Details became simply Elodie – a reflection of how the brand had matured and expanded.
The refreshed name and look mirrored who we had become: a confident, international design brand that still carries the same heart and passion it was built upon.
2020 – The Collection Flourishes
By 2020, Elodie had grown into a universe of products.
Our assortment now included 40 distinct product groups – a testament to years of refinement, focus, and a clear understanding of our strengths.
From Linda’s single handmade pacifier clip to a full range of thoughtfully designed baby essentials. Every piece remains crafted with the same care and attention to detail.
2024 – Design Encounters and Awards
2024 became another memorable year in Elodie’s story. We launched a collaboration with the heritage brand Morris & Co., celebrating the beauty of timeless patterns reimagined through a modern lens.
That same year, the Elodie MONDO Stroller was awarded Gold at the prestigious Mama Awards – honoring our craftsmanship, innovation, and distinct sense of style. Two milestones that clearly showed how Elodie continues to merge tradition with forward-thinking design.
2025 – 20 Years of Passion and Design
This year, we proudly celebrate 20 years of creativity, innovation, and design. Linda is now CEO and Chief Designer, still very much involved in every step of our product development. From the first sketch to the final details.
Two decades of dedication, imagination, and a single unwavering mission: to make life with children even more beautiful.
During our anniversary year, we also introduce the GRACE High Chair – a natural continuation of our story and a new symbol of Elodie’s timeless vision.
As we look back, we feel gratitude.
As we look ahead, we feel anticipation and excitement.
And through it all, our purpose remains the same – to create beauty that truly makes a difference in everyday life.
